XSENSOR’s seating system was used and featured in the Special Issue of Automotive Testing Technology International. The article “Seat First”  explored improving the passenger experience as suppliers strive to meet a lengthening list of seating requirements. Read the article here.

 

Presented at the IRCOBI conference, two publications were written using XSENSOR’s pressure mats to record pressure distribution. The first publication, Detection of Driver Posture Change by Seat Pressure Measurement used two sensors to record pressure distribution on both the seat and backrest. The second publication, Seat Design Characteristics Affecting Occupant Safety in Low- and High-Severity Rear-Impact Collisions used XSENSOR’s high-resolution pressure mats between a dummy and seat to measure the load transferred to the occupant by the seat.

Crash Test Technology International featured XSENSOR and examined how high-resolution pressure imaging measuring high-impact interfaces can provide new insight into injury biomechanics. Read the article here.
