Unmatched Accuracy and Repeatability

XSENSOR’s PX100 and LX100 pressure sensors are chosen by design and test engineers because of their unmatched measurement accuracy and repeatability. XSENSOR’s PX100 sensors set the benchmark for measuring low interface pressures.

Today, the LX100 series of low pressure sensors are the most accurate and reliable sensors available for measuring interface pressure distribution as low as 0.1 psi.

Specifications & Performance

With +/- 5% accuracy and an ISO 17025 certified calibration with ability to consistently measure pressures as low as 0.1 psi, you can have confidence in the test data. These sensors are remarkably thin and flexible; at just under 1 mm in the sensing area, there will be minimal effect to the interface being measured. The range of available sizes ensures that XSENSOR can provide the right low pressure sensors precisely suited for any application.

We are an ISO 17025 certified pressure imaging sensor manufacturer

Your ISO 17025 registration requires your suppliers to provide verified calibrated test equipment and recalibration processes to maintain your compliance. Unlike other sensors on the market, our sensors maintain their calibration due to the capacitive technology design used and the unique materials used to make these sensors. Our ISO 17025 accreditation means that we have demonstrated competency in producing accurate test and calibration data from our sensors.

Low Pressure Sensors Combined with Superior Imaging Software

XSENSOR Pro software has been the industry leader for interface pressure testing and measurement for many years. Easy-to-use and very stable, XSENSOR Pro V8 provides a feature-rich toolkit for image comparison and comprehensive pressure data analysis.

The software allows the user a range of options to view 2D and 3D pressure data. Frame and multi-frame compare options provide an easy way to review test stages. Graphing tools are available for review of pressure distribution and pressure over time data. You can select specific frames of data and areas within the image for more detailed analysis.

Additional features including video sync and measurement tools provide advanced ability to analyse the pressure interface. File management features allow for editing and merging files so that the data set is representative of your test cycle. XSENSOR Pro software combined with low pressure sensors provide the most accurate pressure sensing data for pressure analysis.

Industry Applications

Low pressure sensors are ideally suited to evaluate the uniformity of fit or pressure distribution between compliant surfaces. For example, they are excellent at evaluating the seals on doors and sun-roofs to reduce wind noise and prevent water ingress.

Typical applications for these sensors include design and testing of low contact pressure seals and gaskets, low pressure liquid spray or air flow, wiper blades, squeegee pressure, pressure garments, pressure bandages and other medical devices. These sensors are well suited for robot (gripper pressure), quality assurance for manual assembly, and product demonstrations.

XSENSOR’s catalog of low pressure sensors is extensive and if your needs go beyond that, contact us and our engineers will custom design a sensor for your application.
